The Growling Copy Cat

Hee hee hee.......We were "David babysitters" on Saturday and Sunday this past weekend. He, of course, entertained us and educated us on the intricacies of a 2 year old. First of all, do not force to eat; this will only lead to a power struggle over food, which the aunt and uncle do not want. Second, the dog is only fun for show and tell. Do not let it lick, walk near, or look at 2-year-olds food. Any of the previous will only lead to "Ga-Ga" (bug off), a "rarrrrrrr," and an occasional arm swing from the 2 year old. Third, allow to ride trike in the middle of the street at all times, bring to park to enjoy the "gym" and read lots and lots of books to.

We had a great time, and Jeff is anxiously awaiting the day when David is old enough to enjoy Chuck E. Cheese, a clear sign he is a wanna-be. My favorite new thing is that David can say "love you" in some form, he totally melts my heart whenever he says it!

LOVE the pics! Especially the one of him and Jeff on the slide! By the way, he now growls at me whenever he doesn't like something and tony is trying to deny that he taught him it! Sounds like you have all the 2yr old "rules" down pat! Tony and I had a great time....thank you guys so much!!

David looked like he very much enjoyed his stay with auntie and uncle! Jeff looks like he had his share of fun too. Wish we could have made it on Saturday! Talk soon!
